Yi Jing, Chinese traditional book, is best known for its divinatory use. Its deep vocation is to present all the 64 energetic situations to which an individual can be exposed, in the form of symbolic figures six superimposed, named "hexagrams", combining two types of features: discontinuous traits (Yin polarity) and continuous features (Yang polarity).
Such a concept proceeds from an approach to man and his environment, as part of an energetic conception of the Universe, as described and applied for millennia in traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture techniques details in this book rely on the fundamental data explored in the sources of Chinese medicine (Medici, 2009).
The 64 hexagrams were studied with their own energy significance each situation, in resonance with the energetic aspect of the morphotype of subjects. This allows the acupunctor therapist to find for its patient an individualized diagnostic and therapeutic orientation, custom thanks to a calculator and clinical cards. All of the two books thus constitutes an as complete panorama as possible to use traditional Yi Jing data in current medical practice.
