Paul Nogier was born in Lyon in 1908. He then studied physics before becoming interested in medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture and vertebral manipulations. In 1951 he discovered auriculotherapy, a small reflex therapy that uses the pavilion of the ear as a reflex zone. Some points were partially known since the dawn of time, but the real discovery comes back to Dr. Paul Nogier who emits the first hypothesis and draws the first real location map of the Reflex Points published in 1956.
In 1966, he highlights the RAC, a heart auriculo reflex, then renamed vide by Professor Pierre Magnin for Vascular Autonomic Signal, sometimes also named "pulse of Nogier. He created in 1965 the group Lyonnais of studies in 1965 medical (GLEM).
